Deep Roots, Strong Future: A multi-year partnership

As Ingrained Foundation proudly celebrates its fifth anniversary, the five year milestone also marks the introduction of multi-year partnerships alongside our annual grants program.

Human Nature Adventure Therapy will be our inaugural partner; over three years, we will provide $100,000 to fund the local nature-based youth mental health organisations Deep Roots, Strong Future project.

“In 2023, we made the decision to focus on deepening our impact in the Northern Rivers, rather than trying to scale our work into other regions because there is so much unmet need here,” says Executive Director Jasmin Daly.

Human Nature Adventure Therapy and Ingrained Foundation co-designed the partnership, which will focus on building Human Nature’s foundations, with the intended long-term outcome of enabling more young people access to fully funded mental health support.

“Their multi year investment will help us overcome our key obstacle to growing our impact - which is access to sustainable, secure funding. This is a great step in the direction of realising our dream of ensuring that all young people in our region who are experiencing significant life challenges can overcome adversity and thrive,” says Sharyn White, CEO of Human Nature Adventure Therapy.

Social and environmental wellbeing are inextricably linked, which is why Ingrained takes an interconnected and collaborative approach, investing in and walking alongside grassroots not-for-profits and communities.

Ingrained is looking forward to developing more partnerships such as this, continuing to work with not-for-profits to improve their capabilities and increase agency so that they can be supported to be more effective and impactful.
