Restoration and regeneration between the river and the ocean
In 1986, in a small community tucked between the Tweed River and the ocean in Northern NSW, a group of individuals came together with a shared vision: to restore the flora and fauna habitat which was destroyed by sand mining in the 1950’s and 1960’s….
A Place of Oysters
We took the opportunity to partner with Living Lab Northern Rivers in hosting ‘A Place of Oysters’ on Friday 24th November, as a pre-event to the NORPA Flow performance.
The event celebrated the oyster as a symbol of regeneration, river health and community; the oysters of the Richmond River were once bountiful under Bundjalung custodianship of country and care of the catchment ensuring their abundance.
2023 Northern Rivers Grants Recipients
Through our recent grants round, we are excited to donate over $201,000 to 10 not-for-profits addressing social and environmental concerns across the seven local government areas of the Northern Rivers.

With our largest-to-date number of submissions, our heart-led assessment committee were challenged by what felt like an impossible task. Reading the 58 submissions illuminated the great care and service grassroots not-for-profits in this region direct into our community along with reconfirming the level of need that is out there.
Ongoing flood relief a focus for foundation supporters
Through a joint donation from Victorian based company Bintani and industry peers, we recently directed $15k to the following four Northern Rivers flood relief charities: Hub 2484, HHUG, Resilient Lismore and Wardell CORE.

Ingrained Foundation presents $200k funding pool for Northern NSW
