Megan is a Chartered Accountant with 25 years experience in business. She provides commercial advisory services to SME's, mentoring advice to senior executives and sits on a number of advisory boards.
After completing a Bachelor of Business with a major in accounting, Megan began her Chartered accounting career with KPMG and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1996. Her industry accomplishments comprise a distinguished CFP with The Financial Planning Association of Australia, representing an internationally recognised standard of excellence. Culminating her interests in finance and strategy, she transitioned from Chartered practice to a commercial environment in 2004 to work with the fast moving consumer goods industry. Megan also assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer of Ignite Travel Group from 2011 to 2017.
Chris is Chair of the Foundation and also holds the position of CFO for Stone & Wood Brewing Company.
As a Chartered Accountant, he brings a unique background to the board with experience across strategy, finance and accounting disciplines that has evolved from working in a mix of corporate and start-up businesses.
Originally from Melbourne, Chris relocated to the Northern Rivers with his wife and dog Leo in 2014. Outside the world of finance, Chris is a keen golfer and occasionally enjoys a paddle up the Brunswick River. Not many know that he is also an accomplished violinist.
Starting her career in philanthropy and sponsorship, working for a not for profit arts organisation, Jasmin moved into brand management and public relations in Sydney. For the past five years she has looked after creative direction and community engagement for Stone & Wood Brewing Co.
Calling the Northern Rivers home, she has sat on the Northern Rivers Community Foundation Grants Committee for the past two years.
Jasmin values being connected with and giving back to her community, living a good lifestyle and being out in nature.
James is a chemical & environmental engineer with experience in sustainability, innovation, and food manufacturing across Australia and New Zealand.
Currently the Sustainability Manager for Stone & Wood Brewing Co., he focuses on projects to improve the company’s environmental performance and support and give back to the local community.
In his spare time he enjoys gardening with his family and running and cycling around the beautiful Northern Rivers.
James Omond is a Melbourne-based intellectual property lawyer, who specialises in the alcoholic beverage sector.
After starting his career with the global law firm, Baker McKenzie, James worked inhouse for a number of large corporates, before establishing his own legal practice in 2002. He has served on numerous industry boards and local educational institutions. Married with two children, he enjoys good food, bad golf and balanced IPAs.
Stuart is a former senior ATO officer who now works as a consultant on superannuation matters and as a company director. Stuart lives in Brisbane and is a proud father and grandfather.
